I joined PurposeBuilt Brands in 2007 as a Traffic Administrative Assistant. I entered the company with a degree in Business and applied my organizational skills to the position. In 2009, I was promoted to Transportation Specialist. In this role, I learned the “logistics of logistics” and formed relationships with our carriers. As the company began to grow, so did the department’s transportation’s needs and my responsibilities. During my time as a Specialist, my role expanded to include analyzing freight costs, profiles and identifying saving opportunities.
Currently, I’m part of the Logistics team as the Transportation Manager, overseeing the relationships across our internal business units and 3PL’s, Import/Export shipments, and optimizing processes that drive cost savings and service level improvements. I greatly enjoy the world of transportation and the growth opportunities that have been available to me within PurposeBuilt Brands.
