Removing Burned-On Food

  3. Buff to a flawless shine with paper towel.

Remember to clean spills and splatters immediately after the cook top has cooled. If allowed to dry, removal may be more difficult and lead to damaging buildup—especially with sugary foods (like tomato sauce) and boiled-over water.

For extra-stubborn stains, the Weiman Glass Cook Top Cleaning Kit comes with a cleaning tool and scrubbing pad to quickly remove burned-on food, and a scraper tool to remove any remaining residue (use at 45° angle).

Everyday Maintenance
  1. Allow cook top to cool.
  2. Spray Weiman Cook Top Daily Cleaner onto the surface and wipe with paper towel or use Weiman Microwave & Cook Top Wipes.
  3. Buff to a flawless shine with paper towel. Enjoy your brilliant, beautiful cook top.

Even when you don’t have a big, burned-on mess, it’s important to remove everyday grease and grime. Regular cleaning prevents gritty particles and crumbs from getting trapped between cookware and cook tops, causing scratches.

Tip: Use pots and pans with smooth, flat bottoms, and don’t slide them across surfaces to further prevent scratches.
