Can I use this to remove burned-on food (especially sugary foods) from my cooktop?

Yes, this product is excellent for removing burned-on or sugary foods from a cooktop. We recommend using with our Cooktop Pads to effectively remove the soil without scratching the surface.

Does this work on shower glass?

Yes, this product can be used on several types of glass. It’s effective at cleaning shower glass, oven windows and fireplace glass panels in particular. Just wash with soap and water after use on food-contact surfaces.

Will this product remove scratches?

If there are already scratches present in your cooktop, contact the manufacturer for scratch removal instructions. Please note that our products do not scratch.

What is the fragrance of this product?

This product has an apple scent.

Can this be used on stainless steel?

This kit is a glass and ceramic cooktop cleaner and polish, made for smooth-top surfaces (including induction cooktops) to clean, shine, and protect. For stainless steel appliances or trim, Weiman makes a dedicated Stainless Steel Cleaner and Polish so you get the best, surface-specific results.

Can this cleaner be used on granite?

This formula is designed for glass and ceramic smooth-top cooking surfaces to remove burned-on food, grease, and grime while leaving a streak-free shine. For granite and other natural stone, Weiman Granite and Stone cleaners are the best match for a beautiful, worry-free clean on stone.

Can this be used on other kitchen surfaces?

Yes. Besides glass and ceramic cooktops, it is also great on glass surfaces like oven windows and other glass panels, and it can be used on glass or ceramic countertop and bar surfaces. If you use it on any food-contact surface, simply wash with soap and water after cleaning.

Not at all! The scrubbing pad is designed to be used with Weiman Glass Cooktop Cleaner and Polish. Apply the cleaner, scrub gently as needed, then wipe away residue and buff dry for a clean, shiny finish.

Yes! It is made to clean, shine, and protect glass, ceramic, and induction smooth-top ranges. Use it when the surface is cool, clean with the pad or a paper towel, then buff dry for a bright, streak-free finish.
